Kind, gentle, highly respected and much loved by your adopted family. Thank you for just being Sam. Sadly missed by Anne, Sally, Ian, Katy and Arnold. Dearly loved Poppa Sam of Danielle, Reuben and Ayla. Special friend of Christin and Dean.

Deepest sympathy to the Hare Family.
My father Brian Hare was Sams cousin. I see Sam was 9 days younger. Dad had fond memories of growing up in Mercury Bay and your family names popped up often.
He especially enjoyed going to Sams 80th birthday.
They certainly were lovers of the land.

My sincere condolences to my family so far away. Uncle Sam you were always such a good and caring person to us all. So many friends he made with his kindness. Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked. I can´t remember a bad visit ever to see him. Will miss you even though I had not seen you for such a long time. Was going to visit you in December when I am home, will just have to keep those good memories and share with family.
Rest easy now and thank you for always being the gentle giant of the family
