Roy Henry James:
On Thursday 16 April 2020 Roy passed away peacefully in the arms of his family, in his 90th year. Roy was survived by Shirley, his loving wife of 65 years, son Trevor and daughters Christine and Julie, sons-in-law Dave and Jim, five grandchildren Stefan and Arna, Jessica, Stacey and Morgan and six great-grandchildren Zalia, Mattheus, Elijah and Pieter, Austin and Harvey. My deepest condolences from the bottom of my heart to the whole Anderson family.
I personally have been blessed in my life to have met and been part of Roy and his families lives, I can say without a doubt that Roy is definitely one of the nicest man that I have ever met in my whole life.
Roy's devotion to his family is out of this world.
Rest in Peace Roy, you will be sorely missed by many people.

Heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your loved one. I worked with Roy approximately 30 years ago in Telecom. He was one of the nicest men I have ever come across. Chris, you have obviously inherited some of Roy's lovely traits. I also worked with you and in more recent years have been on tramps with you, Dave and friends. Please remember others care very much and we wish you and your families strength and comfort at this sad time. Much love from Theresa and Bernie.

We remember Roy in so many positive ways - with a big smile and a great sense of humour and always great with a story.
Many a happy hours were spent together, with Roy the boy and Shril the girl, camping at Stanmore Bay, Mount Maunganui and then Hahei.
We will always treasure these memories.
We are sure Roy and Joe will meet and enjoy a Beer or Whisky.
