A true man of the sea, Ron "Regal" Smerdon has set sail on his final voyage, passing peacefully in his sleep. Those who knew Ron will remember his easy laugh, his stubborn independence, and his generous spirit. He leaves behind his siblings Bruce Smerdon and Lynn Mckenzie, his dearest Rae Davies, Kerif, Dorian, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Mercury Bay Club on Thursday 16th October 2025 at 2.00pm. Please bring your favourite photo to share.
