Ron was a lovely gentleman. He was a wonderful supporter of Orphans Aid Op Shop and we have missed his face in our shop. I am sure he is happily united with his wife. Sincere condolences to the family. Regards Martine and the Orphans Aid Waikato team.

I'm so sorry Cindy and family for the devastating loss of your dad, especially so soon after losing your mum. I remember him as a kind, gentle stocky man who was generous to a fault, and loved you to bits. May your parents rest in peace together now

What truly wonderful person Ron was
Always remember how passionate he was for his wife and family
The loss of Gay shook him terrible
But the memories of him out working, laying concrete, wearing his black singlet in the blistering summer heat
Our paths would cross all over the North Island
Our passion was for collecting anything NZ books to Elvis records and we swapped different items over the years
He is back with Gay now
Our love to his family and friends, he was a wonderful person

I went right through school with Ron and lived only 3 houses from him. He was like me and married the love of his life and at Gaye's funeral the emptiness on his face was evident they shared a loving family and togetherness I was upset to hear he had passed. Now at peace with his soulmate. Diane
