Ronald Howard (Ron):
Passed away on Saturday,
14 January 2017, in the presence of his family, aged 64 years. Beloved husband of Michele, father of Shane, Tarina, Kyle and Shannon. A loving grandad, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
He will be forever missedA service will be held at Tauranga Park, 383 Pyes Pa Rd, Tauranga on Wednesday, 18 January at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. Communication to the Batten Family, c/- PO Box 3136 Greerton, Tauranga 3142.

Shocked and sorry to hear of Ron's passing, I had the pleasure to be a farm cadet on Jim and Ron's Riponui farm 30 years ago. Ron would be the hardest working boss I have ever had, and that I have learnt the most from. An honour to have known you Ron. Rip. Wayne Paul

Sorry to hear of Rons passing.
Anthony and i worked with Ron on his farm in Otorohanga. We only worked for him for a year but he made a big differents in our life. One of the kindest, hard working men we have every worked for.RIP Ron
