Rollo LEVIS Obituary

LEVIS, Rollo Athol (Roly). - Dedicated family man and motor racing legend. Passed away 1st October, aged 88. Dearly loved father and father in law of Viv and Noel, Judi, Ross and Raewyn, Brendon and Rhonda. Special "Rolypop" to David, Suzanne, Mya, Anais, Mandy and Kate.You can rest in peace now Roly. You will be truly missed, and lovingly remembered. Thank you to those staff at Oakland Lifecare and Waipuna nurse Fiona who respectfully cared for our Dad.
- A service will be held for Roly at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 215 Devonport Road, Tauranga, on Friday, 11th October, at 2.00pm. Family, friends and fans all welcome to attend to send Roly off in style. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Waipuna Hospice, PO Box 1156, Tauranga. All communication to the Levis Family, c/- P.O Box 3136, Greerton, Tauranga 3142.

Roly...Sorry I could not say goodbyebut there is no reason not to celebrate your victory in life we celebrated those victories for the Gold Star Championships in 1965 and 1967. Love all the memories of our racing years together in NZ and Aussie with you and your family and the Brabhams. Thanks for the wonderful times and memories. john and Jacquie Ramsden...see you Friday for the last farewell.

LEVIS, Roly. — On October 1st, in Tauranga. Aged 88 years. Much loved and very special uncle of Roger and Bernice, and great-uncle of Warrick and Venna. A New Zealand motor racing legend, my hero and inspiration. I will always cherish all the good times we shared.
