Roger DOWN Obituary
Passed away peacefully on 22 September 2022, aged 83. Dearly loved husband of Margaret and loving dad of Louise. A service to celebrate Roger's life will be held at 2.00pm on 27 September 2022 at Charlemagne Lodge, 2 Loop Road, Te Puna, Tauranga. Special thanks to the staff at The Avenues Care Home. My warmest sympathies to you Margaret and Louise. I remember Roger's work with families in Child Development Centre where he worked for a number of years. He was forever committed, compassionate and kind. He held you both very close to his heart. Peace and gentleness in your day Margaret.

My deepest sympathy to Margaret and Louise. Roger was instrumental in me going to work at Waikato Hospital when I came to New Zealand. I followed his advice and enjoyed working at the hospital and making some life long friends there. I am very grateful to him. May he Rest In Peace.

Sorry to hear of Rogers passing. We were just wondering about him the other day. I enjoyed working with Roger and remember finding the days with him and Joan Simpson. Our thought are with you Margaret and Louise.
