Roger COTTER Obituary
Roger Brittin:
Died peacefully on 12 October 2016. Loved husband of Alison. Father and father-in-law of Simon and Wendy, Gretchen and Mike Fox, and Sophie. Beloved grandfather of Matthew, Ruby, Phoebe, William, Oliver and Rosa. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Malcolm and Ruth, Judy and the late Kevin McCarthy. A passionate engineer, craftsman, adventurer, and sportsman; a lover of wine, a practical fix-it man and one who adored his family. A service will be held at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 494 Grey Street, Hamilton East at 10.30am Tuesday, 18 October 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the church for an artwork to be gifted to Atawhai Assisi Home and Hospital, in Roger's memory. We are saddened to learn of Roger's passing, but know that he is in a better place. We are privileged to have known him, and though separated by half a world away, our thoughts and prayers are with the Cotter family as they mourn, yet celebrate Roger's wonderful life.
