Roger Stanley Hellyar:
On 10 November 2022, passed away peacefully at Awatere Rest Home, Hamilton. Dearly loved husband of Shirley for 63 years. Dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Diana Beswetherick and Peter Stipkovits, Rowena and the late Ken Monk, and Annie Beswetherick (UK). Adored Grandad of Tash, Michael, and Jared, Great-Grandad of Raphael, Poppy, Nathan, and Mia. A service for Roger will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 87 Forest Lake Road, Forest Lake, Hamilton, on Monday 14 November 2022 at 1.00pm. The service is followed by light refreshments in the hall adjoining the church. All communications to the Beswetherick family, C/- PO Box 5523, Frankton, Hamilton 3242.

Roger was a senior staff member when I started my first engineering job at Bisley Industries in the late 1980s. I remember him as a real gentleman whose genial and kindly influence was a great encouragement.
