Roderick COSTER Obituary

A loved, devoted, and passionate man, Rod very peacefully slipped away in his wife Irene's arms at Waikato Hospital on Friday, 25th July 2025, aged 79 years. Father to Leslie, Vernon, and the Late Roy and Megan. Loved stepfather and father-in-law to Jason, Patrick & Haley, William, and the late Paul. Treasured Grandad to 11 grandchildren.

Gone far too soon.

A celebration of Rod's life will be held at the Cambridge Cosmopolitan Club, Burns Street, Leamington, Cambridge, on Thursday, 31st July 2025 at 11.00am. Messages to the Coster family may be sent c/- 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge 3434, or shared in Rod's online tribute book at www.grinters.co.nz

To Rods family,
We have known the Coster Family since moving to Panmure in the earl 1950's
Rod Parents were great friends of my Parents Agnes and Jim Eastwood
so we knew Rod and and Ngarie from a very early age - we all went to school /College together Time moves on and contacts are lost, but we are saddened to read this

Passed away at Waikato Hospital on 25 July 2025. Loved husband of more than 20 years of the late Vivienne Barbara Coster (nee Peters), and father of the late Roy, Vernon, Les and the late Megan Coster. Father-in-law of Michelle Coster and grandfather of two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also brother-in-law to Pamela Signal, Jocelyn Gilby, Alison Smith and Richard Peters. Our condolences extend to Irene and her family.
