Robyn NIGHTINGALE Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home on 28th December 2025. Beloved wife of the late Roger Nightingale. Much loved mother of Geoff Nightingale and mother-in-law of Dana Nightingale. Cherished grandmother of Mâia, Rayan and Rawiri. Dear sister of Lesley Gibson and the late Lynn Maru, Heather Moller and April Banks. Loved daughter of Taati and Matuakore Maru (née McLean). Robyn was a pillar of strength for our whânau and wider community and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A service to celebrate Robyn's life will be held at Parawera Marae (11 Owairaka Valley Road) on Saturday, 3rd January at 10:00am, followed by cremation.

Our hearts are deeply saddened by the loss of dear Robyn. May Allah grant her mercy and heaven. She will be missed, but will be always remembered for her kindness,wisdom and smiles. She will be always seen in her son Geoff and her grand children Maia, Rayan and Rawiri.
