Robin SIMPSON Obituary

Born 6 June 1937. Robin passed away peacefully on 27 January 2026, surrounded by his family, aged 88 years. Much loved husband of Margaret and beloved father of Kit and the late Joanna, father-in-law to Laura and Justin, and grandfather of Calan, Mateo, Luke and Liam. Treasured older brother of the late Terry, brother-in-law to Joan, Helen and Philip, and uncle to Deborah, Jonathan, Kristen and Mandy. A respected teacher and then educator at Hamilton Teachers College and Waikato University, Robin was also an accomplished cricketer and golfer. A funeral service to celebrate a life well lived will be held at St Leonard's Anglican Church, 24 Matakana Valley Road, Matakana, on Thursday 5 February at 11.30am.
