Robin PATCHETT Obituary

Passed away on 26 July 2024; aged 82, with family, in the wonderful care of Radius Glaisdale Hospital staff. Beloved husband of GuiBian, father to Kerry, Nicky and Tony, stepfather to ChenWan and grandfather to Wade, Kea and Nikau. A memorial service to celebrate Robin's life will be held at Chartwell Cooperating Church, Hamilton on Sunday, 28th July, at 12.00pm/midday.

I met Robin and the Patchett family when our family moved to Masterton from Whangarei. First in Std. 6 in Masterton West and then in Wairarapa College.
We were in the same class throughout. He was also active, as I was, in the Methodist Church.
I left NZ in 1965 for Europe - returning to my Homeland 2 years' ago - and had no contact after that so I haven't met Robin's wife or children.
Nevertheless I wish to express my condolences to GuiBian and the family.

Dear family of Robin Patchett, Wairarapa College Old Boy of the 1950s. He was a contemporary till I left in 1958 - I think he stayed for 6A (year 13) 1959. It was so good to see him at a class reunion in Masterton a few years ago and to meet GuiBian. Find memories.
