WALTERS, Robert:
The entire family of Robert Walters wish to thank the people who attended or watched his celebration of life on Friday 9th June. We would like to offer our most sincere appreciation of your thoughtful expressions of sympathy (whether it was a friendly smile, a whispered word of strength, a lovely card, helping around the place, some beautiful flowers, a hearty sustaining meal or just remembering us in your thoughts and prayers) during this difficult time. Whatever you did to console our hearts in this time of great sorrow, we thank you. Thank you to Kathryn (his sister) for helping us through his celebration with humour and serenity. Thank you to Jack for his soulful tunes on the organ as we entered. Thank you to Nev and the team for leading us into town and clearing the roads. Thank you to Sarah and Phil (VJ Williams) who worked diligently over the week. Thank you to the people who provided heartfelt personal tributes or served as pallbearers. Thank you, one and all. There really are no words that can express our gratitude. We know our pain will decrease but what will never fade is our cherished memories, so we would love for you to continue sharing your stories or photos of Rob with the family.
