St Paul's Collegiate School

June 9, 2023

Dear Delwyn and family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you navigate the passing of Robert, a partner, dad, grandad, and all-round great guy.

Robert has been an amazing supporter and advocate for St Paul´s Collegiate School. Not only did he send his own children to the school but he financially sponsored a number of other students to have the same opportunity. For over a decade, he played a key role in the governance of St Paul´s and actively worked to set the school on an exciting pathway of redevelopment and growth.

Robert said, "That St Paul´s does not owe me as much as I owe it." We believe however, it is the other way around.

Sending lots of love and thinking of you all during these difficult times.

My thoughts and aroha to the huge Walters whanau who are missing a big piece to their puzzle at this time. Dear Robert, you worked bloody hard and you played hard!! Thinking of you all that loved this outrageously funny fulla. My apologies on not being able to be apart of his celebration of life, I would have loved to have been there and esp to support Barb and Jenn who loved their brother and uncle like a bestie and a father figure. I´ll def be watching the live stream. Take special care and know that missing piece is forever in your hearts and memories.
Much love Anna G.
