Robert WALL Obituary
Peacefully at Summerset Down the Lane on Tuesday 2 May 2023, aged 92 years. Dearly beloved husband of Avis for 66 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Michael, Cynthia & David, Geoff & Sheryl, and Gloria & Peter. Much loved Poppa of Brad, Cam, Amy, Anita, Brayden, Orion, Kordell and Great-Poppa of his 7 great-grandchildren.
Now with his Lord and
Saviour whom he has
served all his life.
Bob's family wish to thank the staff at Summerset Down the Lane for their love and care of Bob. In preference to flowers a donation to St John may be made in memory of Bob. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Bob's life to be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church, cnr Knighton Road and Clyde Street, Hamilton, on Saturday 6 May 2023, at 11.00am.

Tena Koutou ki te whanau Wall! Our thoughts, prayers and heartfelt condolences for Mr Wall. Me and my whanau were students of Hora Hora Primary, livibg at Pohara Pa. Mr Wall was our cheerful, jolly, kind and caring bus driver. I remember he also served and taught us Religious Instructions & I remember all of the songs. Your legacy will live on in the lives and heart if those you blessed. Rest in love Sir. Arohanui

My condolences to you all. I remember with love his laughter, his enthusiasm, his great service to Putaruru Baptist church through Boys Brigade Youth Group Bible Class. Bob and Avis's great hospitality and open home.

We won't make it to the gathering on Saturday but we do want to pay tribute to a wonderful man. Bob and Avis have been very special friends to us from when we were a young couple at Putaruru and throughout our lives. They have always been supportive and interested in our Christian service, and Bob's sincere Christian faith was an inspiration to us. His cheerful nature was uplifting.
