Robert SULLIVAN Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Wilson Carlile Resthome on 16 November 2019. Aged 74. Dearly loved father to Glenn and the late Melanie, and father-in-law to Ian and Janene. Brother to Shirley, Maureen, and the late Brian. Very special grandad to Wendy, Damien, Ian Jnr, James and Adam and great-granddad to Riley, Kayleigh, Sophia, Lorenzo, Declan and the late Conner. A treasured former husband to Wendy and Gwenda. Brother-in-law to Lyn, James and the late Wally and a cousin, uncle and friend to many. A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held Tuesday, 19 November 2019, at 10.00am, at Simply Cremations, 388 Wairere Drive, Te Rapa, Hamilton.

Robert, when we married 53 years ago on 12th Nov, who was to know what our lives would become, a terrible accident, many ups and downs
You were my soul mate then as you are today. Although our marriage wasn't to last we had a lifetime of love and respect for each other, most people would not understand.
Between us we raised 2 wonderful children Melanie and Glenn. Then heart ache when we lost Melanie, but along with heartache goes the happiness of a son and daughter in law, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Last Wednesday when we spoke on the phone and you told me you were waiting for me, I knew then the end was near. On Friday as I sat with you holding hands we said goodbye.
Enjoy a glass of beer, a ciggie and playing your guitar in heaven with Melanie, until we meet again.
