Robert Joseph (Rob):
Passed away peacefully on 23 August 2017, after a bravely fought battle with Huntingtons, aged 55 years. Much loved husband of Paula for 28 years. Long term hero and father to George. Loved son of the late Hugh and Lucy Hale. Proud brother of George Snr. Loved son-in-law of Bryan and Pauline Devine. Loved brother-in-law of Jacinta and Bruce, Catherine and Marcus, Colleen and John. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Cherished cousin to the Morgans. A Requiem Mass for Rob will be held at St Columba's Catholic Church, Rifle Range Road, Hamilton on Monday, 28 August 2017, at 11.00am followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations preferred to Waikato Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 146, Hamilton 3240 or these may be left at the service. All communications to the Hale family C/- PO Box 5523, Frankton, Hamilton 3242.

Paula and George,my sincere condolences , Rob was a true gentleman and an inspiration to many . I always enjoyed having a yack with Rob in the club ,and over the years.Rob will be sadly missed by many people. RIP..

A great friend, competitor and organiser of the Class of "66" Olympic Team. Showed courage and humour over the past years with fantastic support from his wife (St) Paula. RIP Rob.
