Richard STOWERS Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 20th April 2021, aged 69 years. Cherished husband of Gill for 39 years. Loved father and father-in-law of James & Geli, Craig & Benna, Nick, Scott and Amy & Ryan. Loving pops to newborn Izzy.
'Always in our hearts'
A celebration of Richard's life will be held at the Hamilton Park Crematorium Chapel, 395 Morrinsville Road, Newstead, on Tuesday 27th April, at 1.00pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Motor Neuron Disease Foundation or Hospice Waikato is preferred and can be left at the service. A special thank you to everyone who has been involved in Richards care. Dear Gill and family,
I have been so saddened to learn of Richard's passing. I have lovely memories of Richard from my childhood; whether it was waiting for him and Dad to finish up their militaria chats or playing with Ringo, who James and I thought was the coolest dog around. I will remember Richard as a kind and loyal friend to Dad, whose company and sense of humour will always be missed by our family.
