On 30th December 2025, Phyllis McGreal passed away peacefully in her sleep at Ellerslie Gardens Lifecare, aged 82. Loved wife of the late Ian. Cherished mum of Kirsten and Marty, and adored Nana of Sam and Ebony. Phyllis will be remembered for her quiet strength, her generous soul, and the way she always put family and friends first. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in celebrating her life at a service in the Greenwood Chapel, Hamilton Park Cemetery, on Saturday 17 January at 1.00pm.

I am so sorry to hear about Phyl's passing. I worked with Phyl at Waikato Hospital and consider her not just a colleague but a friend. Phyl was a very generous person who always had time for a talk and a comforting word. Rest in Peace Phyl
