Peter THOMPSON Obituary

On 17 March 2026, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in ICU, aged 70 years. Dearly loved husband of Tracy, loved father and father-in-law of Tamara and Andrew, Brenton and Codie, Brittany and Andrew, Kaitlyn and Josh. Much loved grandfather of Maz, Hue and Aly. A service will be held at Te Awamutu Sports Club, Albert Park Drive, on Monday 23 March 2026 at 11.00am, followed by a private burial. Service will be livestreamed please email for link - [email protected] Special thanks to Francesco, Danielle and all the staff at Braemar and Waikato Hospitals - the expert, personal care that you gave was truly amazing. Just so very sorry to hear of Peter´s death. We were all farming kids together our whole childhood but have not seen Peter for many years but always knew what he was up to with my contact with Denise. May you rest in Peace Peter.
