Condolences to Peters family.
His Policing background gave him a calm steadying influence for people. This was also reflected in his Council duties especially during civil defence events.
RIP Peter

I first met Peter as a prosecutor and he was incredibly professional and an excellent opponent. Then I joined his team in the Thames Adventure Race and he was an incredible cyclist and inspiring team member. RIP Peter, a true Thames legend and all round decent human.

Peter was a fantastic role model for me when I was a new constable. Amazing ability to stay calm and assess situations clearly and accurately. A great teacher and yet down to earth, and treated others fairly. So sorry to hear of your loss. Greg Finch
