Paul RODLER Obituary

Dear Karen & family, I have just discovered the shocking news of Paul's passing. I knew him through when I worked at The Warehouse Group.

He was a big personality... making it even more difficult to realise he has gone. Loved his humour.

I hope he didn't suffer. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Paul always used to come down and chat to Chris Bishop and I at 5.30am in the morning, lots of laughs, a straight talking man, just upset I didn't catch up when he sent me an invite, always remembered.

You will always be remembered Paul, you have touched so many lives in different ways. I will always remember you as the dad on the netball court sideline cheering us all all, telling us what to do ( or what not to do haha ). As years went on I always enjoyed it when I would randomly run into you and Karen, both with welcoming smiles and hugs. Your hugs were the best and you always had something encouraging to say no matter what else was going on.

You will be missed by so many Paul. My thoughts are with you Karen, Twila and family.

One of the cheekiest men I had the pleasure of sharing my space with. Rodler used to come by my desk nearly every day he was in the office to chew some fat, solve the problems of the world, share a drink & have a laugh. He was won of my biggest supporters & encouraged me to 'take the leap'. A connection shared through our boys, and our journeys.
A bloody great man, gone far too soon.

I was devastated for you all to read that Paul has passed away. He was part of the Whitiora BC Youth Group when we were Leaders there and we attended your wedding. There is something about Paul you don´t forget- he was vivacious- and fun loving. Sent with love and remembrance of Paul. Paul, we will grieve but we will also laugh because you were such a goofball! Of course you are gone too soon but we know you are safe in Jesus arms. We will all see you soon, but in the meantime, seriously, behave yourself up there! You know what I mean
