Dear Robin, Michelle, Hayley, Dallas and Ash...
so terribly sorry to read today of Paul's death, and your loss. Your lovely husband, father and friend.

From Dunedin to the Waikato, our paths, they´ve crossed in so many ways. I pause to acknowledge all those legacies that Paul initiated and sustained, and with you Robin, and your families now, I send my hope for comfort at this special time. Arohanui.

dear Ash, we want to send our condolences at his time of your Father's death. He must have been a very good man, since we know you and love you. May He rest in God,s peace.

So many of Paul's colleagues at Waikato University have acknowledged his passing; "total respect", "much-loved colleague", "quiet but effective leader in his field" are among the many tributes offered. Along with University friends, the Waikato Branch of the NZGS also extends their condolences to Robin and the family; Paul's impact on the wider teaching community was far- reaching, and will not be quickly forgotten. Heartfelt condolences and kindest thoughts in your time of sadness Robin and family. Paul was a treasured colleague of so many at UOW. His work in the social sciences field made a difference for teachers and learners throughout the nation. He was always open to new ideas and conversations, and a wonderful supporter of new academics.
