Sadly passed away 21 February 2026. Dearly loved partner to Virgil, eldest son of the late Bill and Audrey Burroughs. Beloved brother of Ian, Gael, Vicky, Sandy, Lyn, and Peter, and their partners. Proud uncle of all his nephews and nieces. Paul will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. A funeral will be held at Seddon Park Chapel, 49 Seddon Road, Frankton, Hamilton, on Thursday 26 February 2026 at 10.30am. Earlier today

He was the Big Brother to us all in the Rowlands family . He kept me updated with all the major events in the Burroughs Family with photos and antidotes and I did the same back to him about the Rowlands goings on. We shared info on our shared family history from Nana & Pop Lash and beyond.. We have so many shared memories from our childhood which I, will treasure always. Even when we later went our seperate ways as we grew up, we always kept in touch.
I will sadly miss him but will carry the good time we had with me always.
I know that the last few years have been a struggle for him but he always soldiered on and never gave up. If you wanted to know something about
the our families he was the person to ask, he had all the info on tap. He was
always ready to lend an ear or hand when needed.
Paul I will miss you so much. I know that words cannot convey the loss you are feeling right now Virgil, you were a wonderful loving Patrner to Paul. Ian, Gael,Sandy, Lyn and Peter he will leave a big hole in your hearts but will never be forgotten. Pauline
