Patrick RICE Obituary
Passed away on 31.8.2016 at Assisi Hospital, after a long and brave battle. Aged 82. Beloved husband of Betty. Loving father and friend of Steve and Karen; Tony and Sheryl; Paul and Donna; and Kate and Chris. Adored Grandpa of Todd, Annabelle, Sam, Josh, Brooke, Connor, Ella and Meagan. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Grey Street, Hamilton East, on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11.00am; followed by private family cremation. In lieu of flowers a donation to Assisi Hospital and Home would be appreciated. All communications to Pellows, PO Box 4449, Hamilton 3247.

We were very sad to hear Pat had passed away .My mother always remembers Pat as a great friend to my father through school years and later when we lived in Hamilton.

Remembering Pat as that friendly smiling good natured guy with the beautiful singing voice who gave so much pleasure to those who performed with him on stage and watched him in the audience at Hamilton Operatic for so many years. It was an honour to know him. Rest in Peace Pat.

My old mate Pat,
I first met you in my early Marist days in the mid 1970's. I was always drawn to you because of your ready smile, hearty and genuine humour and particularly, your love of life in general. As I got to know you and your family better, you were always an inspiration to me Pat with your obvious love of family, Marist Rugby and life in general. You always were a man to be looked up to, thank you for being in my life Pat, I will never forget you. Rest in peace my friend.
