On Tuesday 3 February 2026, suddenly and unexpectedly, aged 59 years. Treasured father of Aodhan and Bronagh. Much loved son of the late Roger Balemi and Kathleen Richards. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Michael and Gabrielle, Richard and Dianne, Mary and Gerard Holten, Andrew Balemi and Atakohu Middleton, Brendan and Deborah, and Vicky and Stephen Noble. A Requiem Mass for Pat will be held at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 494 Grey Street, Hamilton East, on Wednesday 11 February at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Whare Korowai Taangata o Kirikiriroa would be appreciated and may be left at the venue or made online, using the reference of 'Patrick'.
