Patricia MURRAY Obituary
Pat passed away peacefully 5th July 2025, in her 91st year, at Matamata Country Lodge. Dearly loved wife of Graham for 69 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Keith (dec), Mary-Anne (dec), Wendy & Brian, Jill & Rob. Loved nana of 5 and nan nan of 6.
"The sunshine in our lives, known for her warmth, kindness and strength. Gone but not forgotten."
A service to celebrate Pat's life will be held at the Broadway Funeral Home Chapel, Short Street, Matamata, on Friday 11 July 2025 at 11.00am. Pat's service will be live-streamed and available at www.funeralhome.co.nz In honour of Pat, please consider donating to St John Matamata, donations may be made online at stjohn.org.nz or left at the service. All commutations to the Murray family, c/- 10 Short St, Matamata.

I have only just heard of Pats passing and I'm so sorry I wasnt there to help celebrate Pats life. My thought are with you Graham. Losing your best mate is truly heart wrenching. Wendy and Jill, my loving thoughts are with you and your families. Hold tight and treasure all the beautiful memories you have.

I am so sad to find out that pat died last week. Just saw it now in the matamata scene. Pat it was great to have worked with you all those years ago. You will be so missed

Gray,I am so sad to read this and even more gutted that I missed the funeral,only tooted to the house yesterday. I think Pat has gone to get the carrots ready for those bunny jumpers.
I only spoke of her to Shirley Rust last week. xx my Friday afternoons aren't the same!
