What an incredible t courageous lady you were Pam. Such an inspiration. Such a beautiful friend to my Mum Daphne Carruthers Lifelong friend. You certainly were a Florence NightingGale Pam. I am so sorry I wasn't away of your passing. You worked tiredly for the Vietnam Vets. God Bless you beautiful friend.

I met Pam in Auckland airport as she was about to fly to Brisbane for a soldiers funeral in July 2024. What an amazing lady she was. She remembered my mothers cousin who was killed in Vietnam and had gone to his funeral. I searched her name when I got home and read about her. What a very special lady she was and I felt so connected in the airport to her that day and still do. So very sad to read she has passed. But happy she has gone to be with her loving husband.
