Another year has passed and still the huge gap in the Ngaruawahia community where you once stood has not been filled...gone but not forgotten...fly high with all the angels...with fond memories of Unlce Norm

Our Darling Friend, You gave so much of your big heart away your forgot to save some of it for yourself. We have so many fond memories of all the special times we shared together with our boys and they have their own reflections of you leading them playfully astray in the finger printing ink, golfing and fishing. You galvanised a community by only seeing the good everybody and we are richer for knowing you and blessed to have shared such a big part of your life.

Your Tangi and service was so beautiful. Andrew, Mark, Stephen, Clare, Jack, Hannah & Lacey did you proud standing up and speaking on your behalf. Our loving thoughts to Sylvia.

We miss you already Normie.

It was lovely to attend the send off today for Norm. So sorry, we did not get to give you a hug.

So sorry to hear the sad news. A gentle man with a heart of gold, the salt of the earth. So glad to have known you Norman and to have spent many happy times together in Ngaruawahia many years ago. Resting with your sweet wee daughter Megan now. Deepest sympathy and much love to Sylvia, Clare, Andrew, Steven, Mark and families, Kath, Martin, Robert and families. Well, last time we spoke at the 2015 Ngaruawahia Santa Parade, you looked in your element Bro'. Big smile, big laugh and doing what you have done for many a good year - serving your community. Not a bad bone in your body Norm, and never a bad word have I heard come from your mouth about anybody. It was a pleasure to serve with you back in the day mate, and I wish you well in your heavenly retirement. You will be sorely missed, that's for real.
