With great sadness we announce the death of Norman Mead on 2nd November 2008. Much loved Husband of Beryl for 57 years, Father of Jonathon, Christopher and Philip and Grandfather of Hannah and William. The funeral will take place at 11.00am on Friday 14th November at St Giles Church, Great Hallingbury. Donations, if desired, for the 'St Giles Church Fund' or the 'Royal British Legion' may be sent c/o Daniel Robinson and Sons, 79/81 South Street, Bishop's Stortford CM23 3AL, 01279 655477.

I met Norman a few times while I was researching my family tree in Great Hallingbury and he was a lovely man always willing to help with a wonderful knowledge of the village, I am sure Great Hallingbury will miss him greatly. Condolances to his family and friends
