Noel WILSON Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital on 25 November 2021, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Nan Wilson (Rennie). Loved father and father-in-law of Suzanne & Philip, Louise & Roydon, Catherine & Rodney. Wonderful Grandpa of Matthew, Sophie, McKenzie, Lily, Brooke & Sienna.
A life full of treasured memories. You ran a good race Dad. You are now past that winning post! Time to be with Mum. Rest easy.

A celebration of Wig's life will be held at Woodlands Estate, 42 Whitikahu Road, Gordonton, on Friday 3rd December, at 1.00pm followed by burial at the Taupiri Cemetery. Due to the orange traffic light restrictions, only vaccinated people will be permitted to attend the funeral and are required to produce the official 'My Vaccination Pass' on your mobile or a hard copy. So sad to hear this news. My mother, Marjorie Fisher(nee Wilson) who also passed away earlier this year, was very fond of Wig, and I became so too. Not in contact often but any interactions were always fun, lively, and thoroughly enjoyable. Deepest condolences to all the family and friends. Rest in Peace Wig.

I will remember Wig with much fondness. Tony and I met Wig and Nan through tennis when we moved to Hamilton in 1989. I `reconnected´ with Wig in Forest Lake Gardens and found him always cheerful and ready to have a chat - he will be sadly missed.
