So sad to hear this news. My mother, Marjorie Fisher(nee Wilson) who also passed away earlier this year, was very fond of Wig, and I became so too. Not in contact often but any interactions were always fun, lively, and thoroughly enjoyable. Deepest condolences to all the family and friends. Rest in Peace Wig.

A real character. He could smell a scone coming out of the oven and arrive 5 minutes my mum said. He was one of Dads best mates and his passing closes another chapter. Much love and condolences to all the family. Maureen (Mo)xx

I will remember Wig with much fondness. Tony and I met Wig and Nan through tennis when we moved to Hamilton in 1989. I `reconnected´ with Wig in Forest Lake Gardens and found him always cheerful and ready to have a chat - he will be sadly missed.
