SMITH, Noel Robert:
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on 8th September 2022, aged 82. Dearly loved husband of Moira. Much loved Dad of Jeanette, Malcolm, Ian, Heather, stepdad of Nigel, Shane, Rachel, Warren and families. A cherished Grandad and Great-Grandad. A service for Noel will be held at the Matamata Club, Rawhiti Ave, Matamata, on Tuesday 13th September at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. All messages to the Smith Family, C/- Broadway Funeral Home, 10 Short St, Matamata 3400.

I met Noel at Nivens in Hamilton in1960 . We both worked in the Machine shop as Fitter and Turners. I had just come out of my apprenticeship so I was on a big learning curve! Noel was a big help to me and I still remember him.

It is with much sadness that we bid farewell to our highly respected colleague and friend . Noel was a clever tradesman, a devoted family man, and a true gentleman. Our condolences to Moira and Noels family & friends . Rest in peace now Noel.
