Peacefully on June 16, 2023 at Windsor Court Resthome with Paul and Carleen at his side. Aged 90 years. Dearly cherished husband of Olive (nee Sanders) and the late Norma. Much loved amazing Dad of Sharon & Murray, Peter & Colleen, Keith & Denise, Paul & Carleen, the late Michael and the late Brenda. Adored Grandad of Jason & Libby, Hayley & Jake, Nicholas & Kendyl, the late Darren, Tracey & Nic, Matty & Robin, Tori & Jack, Ryan & Briar, Allysha & Phil, Cody & Regan. Special Great-Grandad of Charlotte & Lachlan, Ruby & Bump, Hunter, Fletcher, Harlow & Frankie, Jackson, Zac & Harper, Cohen, Kellan, Zayne & Isla.

A service to celebrate Noel's life will be held on Saturday 24 June, 11am at Te Pahu Hall followed by burial at Whatawhata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Nursing and Care Staff at Windsor Court, especially Dr Andy, Asha, Amie and Rosie for their loving care of Noel in the past 5 months.

Sorry to hear of the sad loss of Noel.A man that will be sadly missed.A great memory I have was the TePahu dances and Noel use to teach me to dance by standing on his shoes.The boys will remember him for the rugby he played and coached for Karamu.Great times were always had.We pass on our condolences to all the families from Jeanette (ChCh) Bill (Australia) Jim (Rotorua) McFarlane family sorry we can't be with you at this sad time .RIP Noel.
