HAYES, Neil Arthur:
Passed away peacefully at Moana House, Whangamata, on Friday 22nd January 2021; aged 82 years. Neil was a loving husband to Kay for 61 years, a supportive caring Dad to Michelle and Craig (deceased), and a father-in-law to Keith and James. A cheeky grandfather to Rhys and Danni, Jeremy and Ashley, Tanaya and Logan, and Ben. Great-grandad to Eli, Theo, Kayley, Ashley, April, and Rheed.
He will be deeply missed by all whose hearts he touched.
The family would like to express loving gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Moana House for their amazing care in the last week of Neil's life, enabling him to pass in the town he so loved, and shared so many happy memories with family and friends. A Celebration of Neil's life will be organised at a later date. Communications to Kay, 22A Tui Place, Katikati 3129.

So many good memories of time spent with Neil, especially in those years when we all lived in Whangamata. What a kind and loving decision for him to spend those final days there. Thinking of Kay, Michelle and family at this sad time. Love from Ray & Janice Osborn.
