Nancy TIDDY Obituary
TIDDY, Nancy Helen:Passed away peacefully on 22 April 2022 at Matamata Country Lodge, in her 96th year. Dearly loved youngest daughter of the late Dick and Flo Tiddy. Precious sister to her siblings and Aunt Nan to her loving 19 nieces and nephews and their families. She will be sadly missed. A service to celebrate Nan's life will be held at 1.00pm on Monday 2 May 2022 at Wesley Methodist Church, 100 13th Avenue, Tauranga.

"Miss Tiddy" as she was known to me at the time was my teacher for Primer 1 and 2 classes at Cambridge East Primary School in 1959/1960.
I count myself as being extremely lucky and fortunate to have had her as a teacher at that early stage in my life. She really imbued in me a life-long desire and enjoyment from learning and a sense of achievement through succeeding with that.
I remember her sense of humor and her attention to detail and her genuine warmth with people.
She became very good friends of my parents Tom and Marj Mannell through school and through the Methodist church in Cambridge.
And they remained in touch with her after she moved to Tauranga.
