Murray POWELL Obituary

(NZOM) On Monday 7th August 2023 peacefully at Tamahere Eventide, aged 92 years. Much loved husband of the late Gloria. Dearly loved Dad of Sharon; Delwyn and Keith (dec); Peter (dec) and Sue; and Robyn. Grandad of 7 and Great-Grandad of 6. 'Now at Rest" Private cremation has taken place. A farewell for Murray will be held at Woolertons' Funeral Home, 8 Railside Place, Hamilton, on Thursday 7th September at 2.00pm. Correspondence to the Powell Family, C/- PO Box 276, Hamilton 3240.

Deepest sympathy to all the family. I have very fond memories of such a lovely man, since I was a child, living in Rotokauri, just behind the zoo, originally the game park, and spent a lot of time up at the zoo, and with all "the kids". With kind regards from Doreen Gardner (nee Hawkins). Also fond memories and much sympathy to all from Glenys Hawkins too.
