Nearly 30 years ago I was privileged to meet Murray when we started our new careers together. We were destined to be good friends and although in later years we rarely caught up, when we did it was just like yesterday!
I am so saddened to learn of Murray's passing. No words can ease the loss, but our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time.

A leader who showed that although we were a small mail centre we could still accomplish goals that were the same or better as the bigger mail centres. A man who I learnt to appreciate a lot more as the years went by as I finally got to understand why and what he did for not only our mail centre but other centres too also the Variety Bash charity. A man of Mana within the mighty Waikato. I am grateful to what you gave to my leadership outlook but also to giving your time, expertise, knowledge and charity work. Lastly Thank You Robyn for sharing Muzza with us all. Sorry I can't be there on Tuesday but sending my thoughts to you and the family.

Think of you all. It was an honour getting to know Murray through the Variety Bash. He was so committed to helping disadvantaged children and bringing smiles to their faces. We enjoyed many laughs and have many memories of our fun times together.
RIP Murray uou fought the battle hard and left us too young. Your pain is gone now but your memory will live on.
