Moira BUTLER Obituary
Suddenly but peacefully on Saturday 15 December 2018, aged 82 years. Beloved wife of Kappy for 53 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Teresa & Steve Maney, Judith & Peter Smyth, Shaun & Jessie, Kelly & Claire, and the late Sam. Proud Nana of River, Soda, Renata, Yves- Monique; Lakota; Jesse, Thalia, and Benjamin. All messages to the Butler Family, c/- 174 Lemon Street, New Plymouth 4312. Requiem Mass for Moira will be celebrated at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Saturday 22 December at 11.00am, to be followed by her burial in Awanui Cemetery. Rosary will be prayed in St Joseph's Catholic Church, Nelson Street, Waitara, on Friday evening at 6.00pm.

Dear MUM. I am reading your diaries (its been just over one year now) and miss you so much. You had such an amazing life, but sadly after dear Sam died, you lost your will to live. I just wished I could be closer and not oceans apart to have been your carer for a few months to have kept you going. Your eyes always lit up when I came to stay. You kept your burdens to yourself, so I was not to know just how close you were to leaving us. I am forever grateful that I was there for your last week of life. It will live in me forever and thankyou for allowing me the privilege to write your funeral wishes. You went off surrounded by all your friends. God I miss you and its not fair that you departed, but may you forever rest in peace with all the angels in your heaven. Love you always xx Teresa
