My father always spoke very fondly of Mohan, having met him in Nadi in the 1960s, and then reconnecting in NZ when Mohan lived in Te Aroha and my dad, Warren in Whangamata.

When you speak of him, speak not with tears, for thoughts of him should not be sad.
Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort, for his life was rich because of you.

My thoughts are with the Singh family and also Mohans companion June whom I know Mohan missed so much. May he rest easy and fly high with the angels.

It was a our pleasure to have known Mohan, playing golf with him, enjoying his fabulous curries, and listening to his many stories. The first time I played golf with him on Te Aroha, he was aged 76 and he completed the 18 holes with an effortless score of 76 - wonderful and inspiring to watch. He was a generous host and welcomed us into his home to enjoy such superb curries and conversation. I was humbled when he cooked my favourite chicken curry for my 40th birthday. A truly wonderful, generous and gentle man.
