TUPU, Michael Fraser Kaupoai Wahitapu:
On February 17, 2016. Aged 66. Oldest son of the late Jean Waiehu Piripi Te One Phillips (nee Brown) and Mate Ngawaka Tupu. Loving partner and soul mate of Jane Heeni Waamu Halford (nee Kete). Loving and cherished father to Corrina, Angelina, Jolene, Michael, and Carrianne. Also to his step-daughter Marguerita. A very special loving grandfather and great-grandfather to his many mokopuna. Beloved big brother to all his younger siblings. Awesome uncle, grand-uncle and great-grand-uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A very dear friend to many. Service to be held on Saturday, February 20 at 11am at Te Tokanganui-a-Noho Marae, Te Kuiti, followed by our journey to Oparure Ototoika Urupa where we will lay him to rest, then kaihaakari will be back at the marae.

Eldest son of the late Matepuku Ngawaka Tupu and Jean Te Waiehu Piripi Te One (nee Brown). Loved brother and brother in law of Evelyn, Leonard, Gaye and Neville, Rose and Shady, Matepuku and Monica, Nigel, Robyn, Jay Jay, and the late Rosalie, David, Harry James and Carey. Cherished uncle/grand uncle of many.
