Michael MESSITER Obituary

MESSITER,
Michael Joseph:
Mike (Mick) passed away peacefully on 30 April 2017, after a long battle with, as he would say, "The Rust". Surrounded by Whanau, his Mum came to carry him to be with her and the myriad of angels on the same day and date she left this earth. Eldest Son of Isabelle and Les Messiter. Cherished brother of Denise, Karen and Kevin. Treasured Uncle of little Karen, Luke, Maria and Jordan. Loved great-uncle of Paige, Bella, Lukka, Grace and Violet and loved buddy of Tarney.
"What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us, and when we bring what is within us out into the world miracles happen".
Mike is laying at Hui Te Rangiora Marae Hamilton, until Wednesday morning 3 May 2017. He will be then taken to Newstead Crematorium Chapel for final blessings at 11.00am.

You were a vey special cousin Michael. There were often many years of absence in each others lives but, whenever we talked on the phone, or saw each other in person it was as if it were only yesterday. Always the funny guy, and a man who had the gift of the gab!!!
