I remember Mike Coad and his unforgettable, likeable accent, back in late 60's 70's living in Rahotu region in Taranaki, where he was a stock agent. He was a lovely fellow then, and hearing his voice, while browsing at Bonham's, rediscovered Mike, with his lovely wife Karen and their great collections and good taste in antiques, when moving to Hamilton several years ago. A really charming couple. RIP

Kindest regards and all the best to their family.

As fellow antiques dealers we spent many hours at antiques fairs with Karen & Mike and enjoyed their company. They will be very much missed by us and many others.

I was Mikes antique restorer for 22 years , he was a good friend and Mentor to me ,we had many laughs and could talk about antique pieces for hours .I will miss our weekly catch-ups and I find it hard that you and Karen are now gone. Without you my world is now smaller .Many thanks Mike .

After working for Mike while at university (mid 1980's) we continued to remain friends. He loved to trade and deal, he worked hard, set good goals and loved Karen.

Our deepest sympathy on Mike's (Dad's) passing. A picture of the beautiful bookcase Mike sold us 12 yrs ago - only top quality antique furniture from ''Bonham's". Beautiful couple, sadly missed in Hamilton.
