HILL, Merle Edith: (WRNZS, Service No. 386, WWII). On Tuesday, 16 February 2016, peacefully after a short illness. Dearly loved wife of the late Spencer. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Bruce and Catherine, Allan and Diane. Dearly loved mother of Margaret. Much loved by her grandchildren, Matthew, Anna and Erica, and five great grandchildren. Respected friend of Marion.

A Rosary will be recited at the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 494 Grey Street, Hamilton East on Sunday, at 4.00 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral on Monday, 22 February at 1.30 p.m. followed by burial at Hamilton Park Cemetery, 395 Morrinsville Road, Newstead.
