Dear Eamonn, Trish and Kevin, and wider family, as Linda´s lifetime friend it´s been a privilege to get to know you Eamonn, and through the Catholic community you, Trish and Kevin, and most recently your daughter Brigid. I know you will all miss you dear Mum and Nana, but I hope you will find consolation knowing she is at peace and her spirit lives on! Blessings on all of you.

I remember Mary for her great laugh, encouraging words, a genuine interest in others, and being a great friend of our mother.
RIP Mary-a life well lived.

Rest in Peace Mary. I never met you but I have family connections to the Murphy family. I believe my late mum is related to 'Aunty Bubs' Murphy. We lived in a house on their farm in Taupiri (or was it the Lovell farm?) for a few years, I started school there in 1949 and knew younger brother Terry well. I can't recall Bubs' husband's name but he had ongoing problems with sight and was a pioneer with cornea transplants, which enabled him to see clearly for a while, until they succumed to the issue he had with rejection. Mary's passing has brought back a flood of memories of my time in Taupiri.
