Mary Mavis:
Passed away peacefully at Summerset Rototuna on Tuesday 2nd May 2023. Aged 98. Much loved wife of Alden Cruickshank (deceased) and Gordon Bell (deceased). Dearly loved and treasured Mum and mother-in-law of John (deceased), Raewyn, Ann & John. Cherished Grandma of Rebecca and Angeline, and loved GG of Bella, Ruby, Harrison and Weston. Adored step-mum of Robert, Heather, Glenda, Sharon and Peter, along with their partners, children and grandchildren. A special thanks to Summerset Rototuna for the love and care over the last 7 weeks. In accordance with Mary's wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

Mary was a wonderful wife to our Dad and brought him much happiness. She was a precious gift to all our family and we were so blessed with her beautiful qualities and grateful to have her in our lives. We will sorely miss you. Our caring thoughts and love are with the family.

Mary was a loving and supportive wife to my Dad (Gordon) for 17 years later in his life. We as a family have been so blessed having you in our lives as you were such a gracious, kind person always interested in the wider family. May you now rest in God´s peace.
