STAITE, Marie Martha:
On 7th March 2022, peacefully. Loving wife of Bill. Sister to Rosalie (dec), Charles (dec) & Adrienne. Adored mother of Neil, Vivienne & Carl. Treasured Nana of Nathan & Alisha. Dearest companion of Eric. Respected and loved cousin and aunty to many.
She ran the race,
she kept the faith.
Mum is laying at Te Kauae Marae, Hangatiki, until Wednesday afternoon, then will be at her whare in Beattie Village, Otorohanga, on Wednesday night. A service for mum will be held at St Brides Church, 54 Haerehuka St, Otorohanga, on Thursday 10th March 2022 at 11.00am, followed by refreshments at Otorohanga Workingmens Club.

I so enjoyed Marie´s company as she was always ready for a chat and a laugh. She was very gracious, loving and kind.
A true lady in the real sense of the word.

My condolences to Marie's whanau, especially Adrienne who I was at school with. She was a beautiful lady who was a constant friend to my mum (Gladys Crook) when Mum lived next door to Marie at Beatty Village. She will be greatly missed by the whole community as well as her family
