Margaret JAMIESON Obituary

Loved wife of Ewan Jamieson died on Thursday 4th September at Matamata Country Lodge after a short illness. According to her wishes she has had an immediate cremation. Margaret will be remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her many friends.

We're so sorry to hear of Margaret's passing. I missed getting her Christmas letter. Margaret was our next door neighbour for many years in Heretaunga. She was a lovely neighbour. She always bought Christmas presents for our children, and looked after our pets when we were away. She even took over mother-help for me at the local kindy when I was unwell once. After she moved to Taupo and Matamata we kept up our annual newsletter to each other. Condolences to Margaret's family. A lovely lady.

We were so sorry to read of Margaret´s death in today´s paper. Our sympathy to all her family. We always enjoyed a bit of "banter" with her in her Hinerau Grove days. RIP Margaret.

Died peacefully at Matamata Country Lodge on September 4, 2025, aged 92. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Margery and Danny Robinson. Treasured Gran of Jennifer and Matt, Nick and Kayla, Sam and Kate (Aus), Katherine and Nathan, and Hannah, and her 13 great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed.
Absent from the body, present with the Lord.
