Malcolm will forever be in our hearts and minds, he will never be forgotten,
rest in peace my first friend and lifelong brother.
Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard,
but always present.
Condolences to Wayne & Pearl, Neil & Steffie, and their families, with all our
love,
Jack, and Bree, Mitch, Theo & Sienna.

It is sad to say goodbye to my cousin Malcolm. We shared grandparents whom we called Ma and Pa, and childhood family gatherings including Xmas. My father and Malcolm´s mother were brother and sister. In later times Malcolm and Audrey kept in touch with my mother, Carol, and Mum loved to see them both. We often all came together on Carol´s later birthdays, and this photo is from one birthday probably about 15 years ago, showing Ann Marie, Audrey, Carol, Jenny, Malcolm and Jack. Malcolm and Audrey were both a very much loved part of our family.

I first met Malcolm when we were both Apprentices at the Ministry of Works, Northern Plant Zone, Mangere Crossing during the 1960s. Malcolm was a couple of years ahead of me but he was a good friend and a great mentor to us younger Apprentices. When we left the MOW we lost contact for the next 50 years or more, but I and my wife Sandra were lucky to catch up with Malcolm and his late wife Audrey a couple of years ago and renewed our friendship again. I will always treasure my memories of Malcolm, a fine man. Malcolm and Audrey together again.
